Engagement Synopsis

Ciall  (pronounced KEEL) Clinical Services, LLC  is an innovative clinical resourcing firm focused on providing clinical development and operations expertise to venture capital portfolio companies and biotech/pharma industry sponsor companies.  In this collaboration MBA students will research potential venture capital clients and obtain information on their biotech/pharma startup portfolio including research stage, current resources, and if possible obtain information on their needs relative to our offerings.  In addition students will conduct research to determine who our global competitors are (if any), and based on the information obtained will develop a go-to-market  strategy to differentiate us from any competitors and fine-tune our service offerings to better fit with our target client needs.

  • None

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Understand the Venture Capital landscape in the biotech/pharma industry and how VCs resource their portfolio of companies
  • Determine who supports these VCs for resourcing needs and how they market their services
  • Learn the key resources and services required to take a new investigational drug product from the bench to human testing

  • March 3, 2020 - Technology Assessment

    Assessment of technologies that may impact how we deliver our product including adjacent technologies such as wifi

    Identify two or three technologies that will impact our business and present findings and proposed plan(s) to address the impact

    • ie: does it impact product roadmap, revenue, customer satisfaction – what should be considering in these findings as we build our business plans
  • March 4, 2020 - Analysis of Cord Cutting

    • What is the big picture of “cutting the cord” in the US
    • What is driving consumers decision to cut the cord or not to cut the cord

    Suggested Deliverable:

    • Statistical Analysis of Cord Cutting
    • Delivered assessment on factors affecting consumer choice
